Road Construction Poem:

Road construction season is already here
this inconvenience occur each year
how would a person know
often road closed signs will show
so if you are in doubt
just use another route
traffic often travels quite slow
as the tie ups will grow
another way traffic would be at a single lane
for reasons like fixing watermains
Road construction is everywhere
so please whatever you do drive with care
whether its in the city
or out in the country
Very often a crew works together
in all kinds of weather
however, if it should rain
they have to wait to start again
Length of time can take days
weeks, months which can also cause delays.

Swimming & Pools Poem:

Swimming pools come in different sizes
just the same don't be a fool
children should always be supervised
and obey the rules.

Adults should set an example
regardless if the pool is in the yard or elsewhere
Swimming should be fun and simple
Swimming lessons for safety skills can be learned somewhere.

Swimming is the moving through the water
using your legs and arms
outdoors if the weather is hotter
stay and practice safety away from harm.

Each year drownings will occur
because people don't pay attention
to rules, regardless if the person is rich or poor
this is worth a mention.

Canadian History: Poem

In 1867 Canada became a country
this year it will be 140 years old
here too, this has much more history

With colors of red and white
this is the color of the Canadian flag
what a beautiful sight.

The birthday of Canada was a year long event
I was a little girl then
learning about Canada was worth while spent.

In 1967 was Canada's centennial
Canada making it this far, in Confederation
Canada Day is celebrated annually

Canada Day is on July 1st
and it is a day of celebrations in the park
then at night, there are fireworks colors that burst.

Had what seems like a long day ( June 2nd, 2007

This morning I went to one library to go on the computer, then when my time was up at one place my jouney took to another one. What was ironic or not I wasn't sure if I booked so I checked the computer booking system. Apparently I was booked so my lunch was quick. The weather was quite hot today the temperature was 28 degrees c or 82.4 f. It felt like 31c or 87.8 f. My ice water didn't last long in the heat. The next journey took me to the bowling alley. The games not too bad but the second one was the best. As I was getting my shoes I said to the person behind the counter don't screw around with games this time. After the games I went to visit the captain of the team at his place and we saw the Walt Disney movie Gus. This is about a mule who acts as a mascot. Then we saw a movie summer rental. I just got home about half to 3/4s of an hour ago.

Now maybe the weather will be nice:

The weather was quite warm today,
this is awesome
the temperature was 25 degrees c or 77 degrees f
I don't mind the weather nice and warm.
a radio announcer said and I agree with him
or her they don't mind rain provided the weather
is warm. My parents say we can never get too much rain
I can remember several years ago
the weather would be hot during the day
but it would rain to cool things down
I am okay with that. But now our weather is unpredictable.
